Yeah I was looking up population estimates for South Carolina for the next couple decades and it is suppoused to grow alot more than Nebraska, so actually I'll go with SC.
Well... estimates are often very very wrong, for example my history book made in 2003 said that in 2050 the United States would be 75 percent white.

That could be both hispanic and non-hispanic whites combined that nets such number. It also makes me wonder in such projections if mixed-race people factor anywhere since even though they only are around 2% of the population overall, the number will likely be significantly higher in 40 years. (not mentioning there are many people who have at least one ancestor of a different race and don't know it)
On population projections by state, I guess as well they laregly assume the same trends continue for the next 40 years which is very unlikely. It's unlikely the last decade's trends happen this one due to the upheaval the last coulple of years.
