I did not feel like doing that.

I just said what Northpark center means to me.

And why should I go and find information about what you said?

Exactly because I did not say that, so don't say I said anything that you posted.

And there is only one way to spell Barneys New York and it is not Barney'.
I said Barney's

Dior
Ermenegildo Zegna
Chanel
Jimmy Choo
Max Mara
Tory Burch
Baccarat
Giorgio Armani
St. John
Brooks Brothers
Christofle
Brooks Brothers Woman
Saks Fifth Avenue
Lalique
Emporio Armani
Yves Saint Laurent
Anne Fontaine
Fendi
Bally
Tourneau

That's only the upscale shops not found in Northpark, and there's plenty of mid scale stores that aren't at Northpark Center.

Understandably this is a NorthPark Vs Houston Galleria thread and yes some of these stores arent at NorthPark but the game is a little different since there is more than one upscale shopping area. They won't all be under one roof in Dallas and most likely never will be. The overall quality of the shopping environment is best at NorthPark, the selection of stores is larger at Houston Galleria, you can find a larger collection of lower, middle and high end stores under one roof.

Yes, I'll always respect your opinion, even though I don't agree with some. The only reason why I listed those stores was because "kate_she" said Northpark had more upscale stores, which depending on what your definition of upscale is, it might and might not when compared to The Galleria in Houston.

The thread is Northpark vs The Galleria, so I wouldn't included Dallas Galleria or Highland Park in none of my postings...

I think the point the other poster was trying to make is the selection of stores at NorthPark tend to be mid to high end rather than having a more eclectic mix like you would find at Galleria Dallas and Houston Galleria where there are stores of all price ranges. If Galleria Dallas would just get rid of that awful "Hangers" store in the previous Versace location it would feel a lot more mid to high end and the Simon property group is working hard to get the leasing back up to speed there. I have spoken to some of their marketing staff before. I'm anxious to see what else they do up there.

lol I mentioned that store "Hangers" a couple weeks ago too. I honestly feel Dallas Galleria won't every be what it used to be. A lot of temporary shops are taking spots that at one point housed Celine, Cartier, MaxMara, Versace, Baccarat, and with the closing of Gucci and Gregorys its just going to get worst.

Northpark has surprised me, the recent closures of stores and what their being replaced with is very disappointing... not as embarrassing as Dallas Galleria but still pretty bad for what Northpark is known for.

Gotta vote NPC to offset the Houston fan boys/girls vote. They are rampant on this forum. Amazing that anything outside Houston leads a poll! The Houston fishing bots per CD must not be working very well, lol! ..

Just recently they have been replacing those temporary stores in Galleria Dallas with popular brands, the Hangers store is pretty much the last one left of those and in a prime location across from the new Tiffany and Faconnable opening, I dont see them keeping that store there much longer. Gucci and Gregorys may be staying in Galleria. The final word hasn't been said yet, the NorthPark site says they are closing at Galleria but they also said that about Louis Vuitton and Betsey Johnson and they are still doing well at Galleria. The mall is trying to negotiate leases with Gucci and Gregorys. As for NorthPark, the stores that are coming in arent bad stores. I think its smart for them to broaden the shopping options for different age groups. The new management at Highland Park Village seem to be snagging all the new very high end stores coming into the Dallas market.
