and by the way Dallas has a lot of oil money too.

Mostly all oil people live in the Dallas metroplex.

Did you forget about Exxon one of the most profitable companies in the World?
Uh...Exxon's number of employees in DFW are small compared to Houston. And did you hear that Exxon might move their corporate HQ to Houston once their new corporate campus is built near Spring, Texas?

There is a single upscale Wal-Mart in Plano. The fact that you want to argue about who has more upscale Wal-Marts is just plain sad.

It is also sad that you are trying to argue that Houston is better than Dallas in Fashion.

Why do you doubt it will happen? Houston is already home to the majority of Exxon's employees and is the original home for the company (started as Humble Oil). You don't think a shiny new corporate campus would entice them to move the corporate HQs? Especially when they are moving their Downstream division from Fairfax, Virginia (so, the original Mobil HQ) to Houston once the campus is complete.

I didn't argue that. I don't know too much about these super upscale fashion designers and their store openings/closures. I just know what I like to wear and I can buy it at the Houston Galleria.
