She is on campus for her freshman year, she is looking at this for next year. But now that she knows she can have her car next year on campus, she is willing to stay on campus. She will look into being an RA.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Sunchase apartments? I rode through there it looks like Hastings Ford's high fencing and the natural deep ditch on the other side gave some added security to the place. With those things in place maybe there is a little extra security. I have limited knowledge on how thrugs think but have read that they want many escape routes when looking at a place to rob etc. With the fence, ditch and closed off backside, that would leave only the main entrance. Am I so far looking at this in the right way?

They were the first of the new "big developments" (North Campus, Landing, Bellamy etc) that came in. I always feel/felt safe there. Of course nothing is 100%, but you're on the other side of where the stereotypical "crime" is. Even though Pirates Cove, which is off of 10th has a bad rap

I live in Pirates Cove and love it. havent had any problems so far. buses run from campus to my apartment every 10 minutes. less than 5 mins from campus. on 10th street. $350 a month with cable, internet, and electricity (capped at 120 a month). If you can afford a little more than that, then i would suggest the landing or sunchase
