We have tried everywhere, no one is renting vacation homes by the night, they are all weekly. Please, if anyone has any ideas for me, it would be greatly appreciated. We need at least 3 bedrooms and would like a Friday and Saturday night. I know WHY people are renting weekly, I am just looking for a solution here. We are over in Raleigh, need to take the parents to see the beach when they visit in July. Had no idea it booked out so soon!!!

You may not be able to get a house but you can get a hotel room, minimum number of nights though may be 3 nights. We stay at the Ocean Crest Motel on Oak Island. Only thing I can think of for just a few nights. Perhaps you will find same in Kure or Carolina beach

Hello, I have booked partial week trips before - but, only after I learned to contact the home/property owner directly. I have posted links before on here and gotten in trouble...so I won't. But if you were to do a search for Vacation Rentals By Owner - you will find a highly useful website. The properties list when they are booked, when they are free, etc. Contact the owner directly and you should be able to work out a deal. Good luck!

And, FYI, on the first page of the Kure beach section, I found a number of homes renting by the night...

I'm sure you have thought of other options like renting a whole week, and finding friends to take the other days.

Or else, plan better for next year.

Very good suggestion. BTW most homes renting by the night start with Saturday night, and you must leave by Saturday AM.
