Publix has a strong positive reputation that will be carried over into its new stores.

FWIW (my opinion because I shop there)...the Harris Teeter at Long Leaf is a well run store with good customer service...better than most HT stores.

The Food Lion at 17th St and College has gotten much better in the past few years. The closest Lowe's Foods is off Greenville Loop Rd near the Muni Golf Course.

I think the Publix will do well, but I think the other three stores will be fine....Food Lion may have to lower their prices though. What may be affected most by Publix is the nearby Pharmacies...Walgreens and CVS...adding another Pharmacy within a 1/4 mile of the other two.
