A section of East Boiling Spring Road has been closed since the September 2018 hurricane, but reopened to traffic Monday afternoon. The closure allowed the N.C. Well to be fair I do think the Southwest Bypass is going to be great for relieving some of the traffic in Greenville.
My point is that the State for years put as the priority to replace bridges that could have waited another 10 years while traffic has backed up more and more in the growing cities. The idea that the bridge projects are higher priority is a farce...its just a mechanism to say they are spreading road projects around.
