Hello Everyone Ohio girl here,

My family and I are wanting to move my the ocean!!! Any suggestions? We are wanting to move next year around this time.....Please help!!!

1. Our price range is no more than $150,000
2. We have kids so great school is a must
3. Great neighborhood for our kids/somewhere with lots of kids....
4. A good job for my hubby he's in Construction and Customer Service
5. Far enough in land we don't get hit head on with a hurricane. But would also like to pack up and go to the beach and not drive 5 hours.

Any suggestions please let me know!!! Thank You!!!

I think that you could live in a place like burgaw and your husband could work in wilmington. houses in wilmington are more expensive than your price range. you might also check out raleigh. it's less than 2 hours to the beach and has a pretty good economy. construction is pretty slow in the city of wilmington right now.

Smile Richlands might work

I don't know much about their schools, but I know there is very affordable housing in the Richlands, NC area.

It is close enough to Jacksonville that I suspect finding construction work would not be hard given the construction boom for all the extra Marines moving to the area.

We drive through Richlands all the time and the kids in the local sandwich shops seem pretty clean cut.

You would be under an hour to the beaches of Emerald Isle.
