moving (Jacksonville, Leland, Jackson: apartments, home, living in)

Hi,
My name is April and i will be moving to Jacksonville N.C when my husband gets home from his deployment. I was wondering if bluff ridge apts. or charleston place apts. would be a good place to live? would anyone happen to know anything on these places and if they are safe? your input would be really helpful. thanks.

April, I live in Leland, about 45 minutes from Jacksonville, but have a brother who lives in Jacksonville. There are some scary places there. I will check on these places tomorrow, but the best thing you could do is get in touch with the 'military wives' support system there. They are great! Let me know if you need help locating this service and i will try to help you out. Not many answers from the board here, but maybe someone will get to you soon. I'm sorry I don't know much about apartments, but have you thought about living in base housing? I don't know if there is a wait, or how long the wait could be, but it never hurts to put your name on the list. If your number comes up, you can turn down housing if you don't want it, and they'll go to the next person on the list.
