The pics are from the roof of Sheppard Library.

I had thought originally it was going to be 6 stories too, but they must have changed the plans. Either way it's going to be awesome when it is done. I like seeing some upscale housing for students close in like this. First Street Place is nice but it's kind of far out to walk to campus with a ton of books.

It is 5 stories where the retail is located on the corner of Cotanche and Reade...it's 4 stories everywhere else.

Does anyone know when Burlington Coat Factory going to open? It is moving into the old Home Depot building.

The Walmart express store across from Lowe's HI is progressing quickly. I guess they are planning to give FL some competition putting in all of express stores so close to FL's.

Those new Walmarts are not express store formats. They are full-sized grocery stores, with a pharmacy and a gas station.

One of the workers actually came to Lowe's the other day and informed me that Burlington will be open in a few months. He also told me that there will be a gym on the lumber end and they may build on the opposite end for another possible store to locate there. A great source told me later that same day that told me a well known restaurant is looking in Greenville but could not give me any additional info on that.

GarnetandBlack - I agree with JPirate, these pictures from this vantage point really convey the best view of this development. Good job to you or whomever is taking the pics!

That seems odd. I wonder if there were issues with the landlord of did they just get sick of paying rent?
