There are gators on the golf course here at BF, and you see one occasionally in the retention ponds that are located throughout the various neighborhoods, but they're not running around terrorizing residents or golfers. If you follow the rule, "if you don't bother them, they won't bother you", you're probably not going to have any close encounters.

North Carolina has:

--alligators
--bears
--copperheads
--some crazy big insects
--hurricanes
--and the most dangerous of all? The deer that once in a while run in front of your car
