My son does has the D series, but still needs Connecticut, Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Iowa, North Dakota, Utah, Hawaii, and Arizona for the P series. Also he has no DC quarter, we didn't even know their was one for DC.
Well, I got a DC quarter, but I'm still lookinng for the Hawaii one. I'm sure it will turn up. I went to the US Mint site, and they already have a set of 2009 quarters listed which includes, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and one other island which I can't recall.
I have no illusions that a set of 50 state quarters, especially circulated, will be worth anything over face value in my lifetime, but they are fun to collect.
Was wondering if anyone is still doing this? I'm one short of the 50 and am moving back to the UK. If anyone comes across Kansas i'd be sooooo grateful if you could send it to me.
Are you aware that the series isn't stopping with the 50 states, but is also including Washington D.C. and five territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, US Virgin Island, and the Northern Mariana Islands)?
I suppose I could send you a Kansas quarter next time I come across one. I might have one somewhere, other than the one I've got in my collection.
