Look at 2007 when the Patriots beat the Giants right before the playoffs and then the Giants beat them in the Super Bowl. You can't have a champion without a playoff. Look how many number 1 seeds lose early in the march madness tournament. I wouldn't be suprised if a team like TCU pulled a Butler and made it to the final game in a playoff system.
As a Duck fan, I would have to agree. Stanford had consistently improved and seems to have been gotten stronger and better. Oregon seemed to be a little rundown towards the end of the season. LaMichael James was about 70-80% at the end (however, most people wouldn't have known it).

But, the Oregon Machine seems to be humming along once again in all the reports I've read. So, we'll see what happens on Monday.

I woundering how this game will turn out. After almost 5 weeks with no game, will those offensive machines still be well oil??

And will it rank amoung the tops, in terms of good Nat Champ games like: USC/Texas, Miami/OSU, ect. We will see.

Maybe the reason the Ducks didn't look as good the last few games (I thought they played great) is that Chip Kelly decided to keep his cards in his hand for the time being. If they felt they were losing the battle they'd throw it down. OOOOH I FREAKIN CANT WAIT FOR THIS GAAAAME!!!

Chip Kelly is an amazing college coach. Everybody is going to be copying him next year with the blazing fast, never before seen, hurry up offense he has created. I think Auburn is in alot of trouble. I would not want to give a coach like Chip Kelly 35 days to prepare. My MVP of the game is going to be Jeff Miehl(I think I spelled that right). The guys is the next Wes Welker. Auburn will have no answer for him.

haha, classic. I can only imagine how many times the coaches are questioned like this. Good job Nick.

I wouldn't spend 5 bucks to watch this blowout. Well actually I probably will, I love Hot Wings.
