UT, OU, Tech, and Okie State need to come to West join the Pac-12. Both sides need to recognize that would be a great conference in all sports and work it out.
How fun would it be to get to see the Ducks play in Lubbock, er, wait

In defense of Tech, the atmosphere on gameday is as lively as any in the nation when the team is winning. I'd almost feel sorry for the visiting teams if the Red Raiders had a season like last year's Ducks.
The Lubbock area isn't Yosemite Nat'l Park, but who goes to football games for the scenery of the surrounding countryside? Even so, there are nice places like Ransom Canyon, Caprock Canyons State Park, and Lake Alan Henry nearby. Lubbock itself is fairly brown this time of year (grass & trees are dormant), but should green up fairly soon. In fall, the weather from late September on (earlier than that & it can be a little hot) is custom-made for football. The campus is fairly lush then (maybe not by Oregon standards, but close), and a lot goes on before every game.

I actually love the architecture of most of Tech's buildings.

Texas schools except Texas tech would fit the sec better culturally and location wise. I mean just look at how a&m has gotten better since they joined.

Oklahoma & Oklahoma State would fit much better culturally in the SEC West than the PAC too.
Can we just get A&M back and have the Big XII South again? That would be great....get it done Aggie fans.
Some don't. The cultures of Oklahoma & Oklahoma State are very similar to that of A&M and Arkansas. None of these are Deep South schools like the Bammer or Mississippi schools.
Also, Missouri is more of a Southern outlier than any of the Oklahoma schools.
I just want OU to join a real conference if the Big XII is not going to add teams. I'm sick of being the "weird" conference that doesn't have at least twelve teams and a conf. championship. Plus, it would be awesome for traditional powers OU & Bama to square off more on a regular basis.

Texas a&m is not coming back. Since they joined the sec they have made way more money. And they recruit much better too. Going back to the big 12 would be foolish.
