Big matchup this Thursday:
TCU vs. Utah
Utah is looking to stay undefeated and play in a BCS bowl for the second time, while TCU is looking to crush Utah's BCS hopes and possibly rebuild theirs.
Which brings up another question... If TCU wins Thursday, will they become the first one-loss non-BCS team to play in a BCS bowl?
Two big time BCS-busters that are looking to crash the big boys party. You also have an undefeated Boise State in the mix.
Who is the best non-BCS school right now? If you've read my posts, you already know what I think.
I want to see both Boise State and Utah facing different opponents and kick some more automatic BCS schools butt. I don’t think Oklahoma wants any part of any more Fiesta Bowls. 2007 BSU 43 OK 42. 2008 WV 48 OK 28.
Both schools are not going to BCS bowls, even if they both go undefeated. Utah will go to one if they win out; meaning Boise gets left out.
They could both go to BCS bowls quite easily this year if they both win out. All they have to do is be ranked 12th or higher in the final BCS poll, or be in the top 16 and ranked higher than a BCS CC ( right now they meet BOTH of those criteria)
