So, since it's cheaper, I'm taking 2 years online classes at my local community college, then I'll transfer to a university. Does anyone know if Rice offers online courses, and if I could transfer there?

I have a friend that's going to Lone Star College in Houston. He travels a lot and said something about Rice doing some courses online but not all. He is transferring to Rice soon.

Why don't you check out Rice's website?

You'll need a stellar GPA to get into Rice. Keep hitting the books.

I was an A-B student in high school, but I took resource math because of a brain injury at birth.

You'll need straight As for Rice. It is a highly selective and competitive university.

You can try but you better have all A's coming from a community college. Rice is a highly respected school and I think its tougher to get in than A&M or UT. Heck there are only 3000 or so students there.

Rice is an excellent school. You should also apply to some safety schools like UTSA, Sam Houston State, etc.

I'm saying you probably won't. Rice accepts less than 20% of applicants. It has the lowest acceptance rate of any university, public or private, in the entire state.
