I've in my third semester of my graduate program but have the potential to start a full-time job. I need three more courses to complete my degree. Do you think it is possible to complete this last semester taking three courses while working full time, or would I be better to take two classes in the spring and finish next fall?
I work full time and am in grad school full time. It's possible. Exhausting but can be done.
If you want the job, take the job. If you want the degree, take the degree. If you want both, do both - I fail to see the urgency to complete the degree if you already land a relevemt and rewarding job but I also get the desire to be over and done with it all

i know people who wound up one class or even one paper/thesis short of a degree. big mistake
Well I'm graduating in the spring, took 3 classes on campus, finished in 2 years and work a 50hr a week corporate job.
It takes some serious time management and the ability to let all social aspects of life go while I'm in school, but all in all the best decision I ever made-especially since my employer is paying my tuition.

I did it, and also commuted 90 miles to class. I was fortunate enough the first year to get all of my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, was there 7am-7pm but had the rest of the week to study and work. The second year was much harder, having to add a 3rd day of class (one only) so 3 hours driving for a 2 hour class. Work was not a problem, I had a flexible schedule but worked 50-60 hours and still kept a 4.0 average.
