In June my DS and I will be going to tour UCCS and will need a hotel. What's a good recommendation for a hotel near the campus? TIA!

There are a lot of hotels in the area from the Marriott at I-25 and Corporate Center Dr., to the Garden of the Gods and I-25 where there is a La Quinta, Hyatt Place, Quality Inn, Super 8 (wouldn't touch that one with a 1/2 mile pole), America's Best Value Inns and Suites, and probably a couple of more that I can't remember. But, you won't be lacking for choices and the Garden of the Gods Road (exit 146 on I-25) is only about a mile from campus.

My daughter just went to UCCS last month for an orientation meeting, she is attending in the fall, and she stayed at The Academy Hotel in Colorado Springs, it was close to the school, free breakfast, and very nice. We are staying there next week when we go back for registration.

I've stayed at the Hyatt on Garden of the Gods several times and I can say that it is the all around best hotel I've ever stayed at. Great rooms, fantastic staff, delicious food, and best of all reasonable prices!
