Is it true that if you didn't vote in the current primary that your voter registration lapses?

If so, where do I go to re-register?

BTW...dumbest ballot I ever saw. Not one office actually had an election.

No. Only voters affiliated with a political party vote in the primaries. Unaffiliated voters can't vote unless they declare a party. If you have a question about your eligibility to vote in the general election in November, call your county's election official.

The City Clerk tried to cancel the Democratic election as there was nothing contested at all, and he was denied cause of how the state laws read. Supposedly there is something in the works to save counties $$ if they see a need to cancel an election. I have a friend who states that's a terrible idea and can be used too politically to hamper elections.
