Hi All,

Considering CS area for the big and last of move of my life time. Single, white, not conservative, not liberal, non-military. A girl and her Golden Retriever needs a major change of scenery. Mid 50's. Looking for a dog friendly town. I can afford the real estate, I have a job. Just wondering if I would fit in? Does single male military date non-military girls? Any advise or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see any reason from what you said why you would not fit in here. Have you visited?

Military guys, like all other guys, will date anything still breathing. You're golden.

Thanks for the comments. I have visited and loved it. Put it on the back burner for a while and now it is boiling over in my head. Love the dog park! I call it the Disney World of dog parks. Redmond WA has one similar, Merry Moore. I focused on the West Side when I came out for a visit. I am coming out in Oct and would like to look at different areas. Can anyone chime in on some good areas for a 50 something single girl, very laid back. I like the older style homes/neighborhood east of downtown, but looking for more of a yard. Budget 300K.

Mid 50's is a bit old for active duty military. Don't know how many single military men retire here.
300k might not be enough for a nice house with a yard areas near downtown?
