New Cog Railway cars being assembled in Switzerland

https://kdvr.com/news/local/new-cog-...n-switzerland/

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — As work continues on the renovated Cog Railway tracks on Pikes Peak, crews across the ocean are putting together the train’s cars.

The Broadmoor, which owns the railway, shared photos of the train assembly process Monday. The cars are being assembled at Stadler Rail’s facility in Bussnang, Switzerland.

very spiffy looking!!

I would still be hesitant to try them because I don't do well at high altitude but I'm sure they will be a very popular attraction once people are back traveling and sightseeing again

Default Pikes Peak train back on track in May 2021

My brother came to visit in 2018. Looked forward to taking the train. No train.

The entire track has been rebuilt and with new trains.

$58/person to ride. $15 to park. Seems excessive for an hour up, 40 minute hang out, and hour back down.
