Californiansdon't bother me at all. It's Texans that really get under my skin.

They always have to use the phrase "Well, that's not how we do it back in Texas"

That makes me so mad I want to burst into flames.

"How to avoid being the "ugly Californian" in Colorado?"

Stay in California, Colorado is full.

"It's Texans that really get under my skin."

Texans are OK, they spend their money and then go home.

Well thats right neighborly of you Syncro! Why does this forum exist if people are going to be haters? Isnt the point to HELP people? If you don't have anything helpful to say, then don't bother posting. I am always amazed how people hide behind the anonymity of the internet to be rude to others.

Probably will be soooo true...it is already bluea** cold in the areas
that I am looking...so we are taking a roadtrip there next week to
see if we are going to like it...this is a good time to decide..because
if, in October, we can't stand the weather...I know we won't be able
to grin and bear it when it actually turns into winter...this will be our
"it's a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there" trip...haha
We have about 25 homes lined up to look at in different areas...I
know that the trip will be fun...even if we do not find a house...

crash1122 - When you have seen the damage caused to S/W Colorado by the influx of
Californians - then I will more appreciate your opinion.

dont worry. i am not a Californian who plans to move to CO. just saw this when i looked at the forum screen. nearly every state i have looked into relocating to seems to stereotype us. it is pretty hurtful actually. we know it is hurtful to stereotype immigrants from other countries, so why stereotype people from another state?

I moved here from Orange County - don't worry, it's just a couple touchy people posting here. If anyone thinks all CO natives don't pass on the right, come to complete stops, etc., they delusional! I've never run into any anti CA hatred here.

Colorado should bow down to all of us who've moved here in recent years if, as it looks very probable, we hand our 9 electoral votes to Obama. We're helping turn CO blue!
