Brooklyn New York, the City's most dangerous borough, thinks that Pueblo is dangerous.

Every time I visit Pueblo something bad happens to me. The town is cursed!

I think you missed that the sarcasm was directed at Pueblo. Statistically, New York's crime rate is way below Pueblo's.

That you think Brooklyn, the Mecca of the Hipsters, is crime ridden, speaks to where the sarcasm was missed.

Rough year for Pueblo crime-rise, but it sounds like the city is taking the appropriate steps to reduce the gang violence.

I still say if I felt unsafe I'd move as my goal is to live forever and no city is worth risking that. My point with the post is NYC has major issues with drugs too.

"....no town is worth risking my life."
LOL (minus the naivete) ie, I don't know if such a town exists? Last year I moved to the Nebraska panhandle (to dropout) to get away from my native city gone greedy (St Paul MN). When I arrived in Scottsbluff (15K) I soon found out that the residents instead of buying a gun they let their dogs run loose. The police seem to support the residents (reported them) albeit they have a "leash law" that no one gives a damn about. Along with the flies (feedlots) and spiders I'm looking to get back to civilization ie, Pueblo in the Spring. I've lived in all 4-corner states and none is perfect. Be streetwise and watch your back and loose the naivete! Thanks.

Albuquerque?
A city with its' own issues AND the "toilet of the Southwest." Largest issue is no one votes even though the ballots are printed in Spanish (only state). The APD shot a homeless camper in the back 3yrs ago and that's when I got out. Yes Pueblo may be "great" but I'd have to travel there to find out, and even then the 'dirty little secrets' aren't apparent until you live there for 6 months (how long it takes me...lol).
