I just looked at the forecast for Denver and while it will be cold on Saturday it looks like no snow is forecasted. Not ideal football weather but not as bad as I have seen....

This is a quirky system coming through Fruita. Last night around 7 we started getting snow. Then when the cold front finally pushed all the way through Mesa County, we had 40 m.p.h. winds and the temperature shot up to 46 degrees and then started raining. This was around midnight.

The roads are really slick this morning as 2-3 inches of snow has fallen this morning but C-Dot has got the guys at work en mass. Wind blowing now around 15 to 20 m.p.h. and we have a couple wrecks a couple blocks from each other by the truck stop on hwy. 340. Looks like I picked a good day NOT to go to Denver for a Bronco game, not that it mattered as my vehicles went ka-thud!

Traveling in the high country? I wouldn't.

Joss is right as Denver is supposed to get just a minimal amount out of this.

About a half inch of snow here and it's 10 degrees this morning and snowing. Very fine powder with little moisture content, but at least it's something.

13 degrees with a slight dusting of snow here in Cortez this morning. Tonight's low is predicted to be -11 degrees! Brrrrrrr! So much for the "balmy" Four Corners. We've already gotten more snow this winter than last which is good, but I could do without the bitter cold we've been experiencing.

According to NOAA, at 10;45 AM Denver is up to 3º, Boulder is at 10º - looks like Denver metro is one of the coldest areas in the state today.

C-c-c-cold in Nederland. We had -7 this morning, so far only up to 3 today. Wish we'd get some snow!

That storm ended up being much ado about nothing in Vail. I think we had some breezes but there was no high wind and a couple of inches of snow overall.
