I did not read all the posts so maybe someone already discussed it but the reason the I-70 and the I-25 interchange in Denver was called the mouse trap was because they use to have tower there that the highway patrol would use to catch speeders in the middle of the intersection, hence the name "mouse trap"

As a side note Pueblo use to call the interchange of Highway 50 and I-25 in Pueblo the "mini-mouse trap" lol

I think she is in Denver and not the Springs, as far as the name I have always found that amusing. lol

Does springs even have a traffic copter? I know they have traffic information but I don't think the person flies over the city in a helicopter.

Yeah, I caught my mistake one morning driving to work when I noticed I was listening to 850 instead of 740 or 105.5.

So this being a Colorado Springs subforum, what ever happened to Bad Azzed Betty?

I love listening to 850 KOA in the morning and evening when driving to work or home. It reminds me how nice it is to NOT be in a traffic jam.

Anybody ever think about getting a Sham-Wow? How would you clean this thing? You couldn't put it into the washer, could you? Wouldn't it just suck up all the water?

I still like how KVOR says Colorado Springs - Pueblo - Denver when you cant even get it in Denver lol

Maybe KCSJ, should say Pueblo, Denver, Colorado Springs, Cheyenne, Casper, Albuquerque!

I'm driving to work this morning and 850 KOA is talking about the dangers of using the cell phone to talk while driving. Then they said, "Text us your thoughts at 805KOA.com"

So I texted them, "While driving to work, I'm texting to say they ought to ban texting while driving as well." Crackheads.

850 KOA? Can we get that in Denver? I'm hooked on 630 KHOW talk. Pete Boyles is annoying but interesting. Then at night we have these two lawyers Craig Silverman and Dan Caplan. Very irritating couple but nice to hear. And there's always NPR.
