I agree but read close. Limited to Town of lexington, not the County of Lexington. Still have a long way to go to open this state up, including legalize wagering/gambling.

I agree about opening the state up, but this is a good step.
If the major burbs (towns) get Sunday sales, most county residents are at least within a short drive. Same thing happened in Greenville County....Greenville and its burbs of Simpsonville and Mauldin have Sunday sales, but not the county.
I must say, at least the suburban population towns in the state are able to get Sunday sales.....I lived in one state where if the county were dry, all municipalities within the county had to be dry.

Ever since moving here two years ago I must say the difference between Richland and Lexington counties is like night and day. At least the area is becoming more urban and cosmopolitan, and hopefully the county will follow suit as well as the rest of the state that hasn't already.
