I agree. Bodies in downtown is good but more mature, money spenders are better then the 18 year olders doing the walk of shame.
Its not an either/or situation. Columbia is unique in that both demographics are represented downtown. I think young professional housing is a shortage in Columbia. Developers are jumping on the low hanging fruit because Carolina is growing so rapidly. But, as we are seeing, other developers are coming in with different products to serve the post college crowd.
