I don't think they've even started land acquisition yet.

Then it could be years.

On another note, weren’t there supposed to be lights installed at 185 and JR Allen?

OMG- never seen so many people lined up for a Cook Out burger joint. I went by there last night and the cars were lined for a few hundred feet!

Nobody in Columbus eats at home anymore! ALSO, Columbus tends to be the last of the tier 2 cities in Georgia to get anything, and then a new place finally comes in and WOW-----the owners/franchisees/companies say:GOSH, we should have discovered COLUMBUS A LOT SOONER!!! DUH!! Just you wait and see the lines at Culver's in Phenix City when it opens! And the Bass Pro/Cabelas, Costco, Cheesecake Factory, Varsity, P. F. Chang's, Genghis Grill, etc., etc!

For good reason too lol I went there yesterday and the price was much cheaper than I expected and the food was really good too. I know that will be a really popular place.

Any of those places would have a really long line if they opened one in Columbus!

Cook Out has some very good shakes. Have not tried the burgers but the peanut butter and chocolate shake tasted homemade.

Hard to pinpoint the location. Maybe the redevelopment of the old Sears building?
