Columbus' strengh is it's neighborhoods all around downtown and going up to Ohio State and past Ohio State. Columbus' downtown has some great elements and some interesting buildings, theaters, but the retail scene leaves somthing to be desired. The downtown population is increasing, but most of columbus retail hub is around downtown and a few miles away at outdoor shopping centers like easton and large malls. However, Columbus urban neighborhoods around downtown are nearly 100 percent gentrified and have commercial strips, a very high end restaurant scene, lots of clubs, bars, and most are very high in gay population and infill.

Very nice shots of Columbus...I'm not familiar with this city compared to the other large two in the state, but I'm very impressed and could see myself driving over some time while visiting my sister in NE Ohio.

Columbus has came even farther in the past two years(from when these photos were taken). Now the baseball park "Huntington Field" is almost finished in the Arena District. The Arena District itself is also grown and developed immensely. Now Broad and High has developed into a mini times square. It has multiple multi-story video screens, a stock ticker, news tickers, video adds, and television news studio(with the a large window behind the newsdesk at ground level). In my opinion, Columbus is one of the most underrated cites in the U.S. I know many people are surprised when they see it for the first time.
