It's funny Nationwide announced something this week about the empty lot - I took my kids down to NHL All-Star weekend and wondered when that lot was going to be developed as it's the last one left - now I know.

Franklin County to back bonds for more Poindexter Village housing | The Columbus Dispatch

In addition to the 106 senior housing apartments currently under construction at Poindexter Village in King-Lincoln, another 87 units in a mix of townhomes and apartments above retail space are planned for the 2nd phase. The 2nd phase will be mixed-income, including market-rate.

This is the reason Nationwide is looking at starting another condo project in the Arena District. Condo sales surged last year.

Northstar Cafe Shelves Upper Arlington Restaurant Plans | ColumbusUnderground.com

So Northstar has decided not to build a new HQ and restaurant at 1515 W. Lane Avenue, instead to focus on their new store in Westerville.

The site will instead be developed into a mixed-use project by Pizzuti, but no details on that so far.
