I am looking for a short term furnished apartment for up to 3 months. My mother has fallen ill and I will be in Columbus for approximately 2 to 3 months. I don't have any preference as far as location but am looking for clean, safe and an overall pleasant environment. My budget is $500 to $750/month (hopefully closer to $500). Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm hoping someone reads this message and replies. I am probably not being descriptive enough so let me say that I am interested in a short term rental to assist my mother who is gravely ill. She is currently in a nursing home so I would be with her day/night so am looking only for a clean, comfortable place to sleep for a reasonable amount. Thank you again.

Look on Craigslist under sublets/temporary.

Thanks BuckeyeData. Besides Craigslist, are there other options? I would prefer having my own apartment (without roommate or private sublet).

Unfortunately for a period of 3 months, it's not likely you're going to find an apartment in a decent neighborhood at your price without subleasing or room mates. You could in a more questionable neighborhood like the hilltop area.

Thank you. I've decided to go with one of the corporate housing properties since the rooms come fully equipped. Just trying to decide which one would best fit my needs before I commit. They all begin around $1000 per month. If anyone has any experience or suggestions I would love to hear.

Silvertree, Springburne, or Karric Place should all fit your budget for a studio.

Ohio POA Managers ? Dublin Ohio Association Management Company ? Columbus Homeowners Association Management ? HOA Management Company Ohio ? Borror Properties ? Karric Place Apartments ? Silvertree Apartments ? Springburne Apartments

If you go to Silvertree, tell Carole that Crystal sent you!

You might check out the hotels with weekly rates. I believe some of them come with kitchenettes. There's one down the road from me, I think it's Inn Town Suites or something like that? Can't recall their rates and can't vouch for them or any other since I have never stayed there, but might be worth looking into at least. I know I looked into extended stay america at one point, but I was without transport so they didn't suit me. FWIW, I found a good situation through Craigslist when I first moved here, though it was a private sublet and meant sharing a house.
