Hi,

I will be going to Columbus this summer for three months to do an internship in IT. I am looking for a short-term lease and a furnished apartment. So far, I have been quoted $625-$735 for a studio in Dublin, though I haven't done a ton of research yet.

What kind of price can I expect to pay and do you have any recommendations? I am looking for something affordable and within 25 minutes of downtown, where my job will be. I have not been to Columbus, so I have no idea what the commute times look like there.

Thanks.

Silvertree, Springburne, and Karric Place all have furnished studios for short term leases, and all are within 20 minutes of downtown.

Summer is a good time for student subleases. Check on craigslist. Avoid managed student communities since they will usually require an application fee, which can be quite high. One place I looked at required a $200 application fee!
