I have a friend that lives in Columbus, Ohio and I must say I feel sorry for her. I am not trying to troll but the amount of fake people that I met there was appalling. Couldn't wait to leave!! They say they like it but then they say they wish they were somewhere else. Most of the people that I met go to church 6-7 days a week!!!! Seriously, how do they have time. If a person does not have family(out of town) and does not go to church 6-7 days a week then it seems like they are not welcoming. Actually, they are not. If you visit Columbusites will tell you how great it is but for your own sake don't believe them!! Once you move here those same people won't even talk to you.

BTW the stereotype about people from really small towns that move to this place is so true. They think it is a big city!!! They are the most rude. Midwestern charm, Ha didn't see that around here.

I think there are a lot of cult organizations. Obviously these people can't think for themselves.

Wow, 6-7 days a week. I've never met anyone who does that.

the 4 people that you met while being in Columbus do not determine a whole city's persona

I have met more than 4 people. Yes I agree that it shouldn't "determine a whole city's persona" but I met so many people there that were like that. Also Columbus may have many different cultures but it does make it cultured in any way.

Especially, when Columbus has one of the least church-going or religious populations.

If you don't like Columbus, why do you keep coming here?

Lucky for you, you live somewhere else! Lucky for us who happen to like it here, you live somewhere else!

I might live in a bubble, but I don't know anybody who goes to church at all.

Muffy sounds miserable.
