It is a subjective question, I know. Opinions differ depending on what you enjoy as a challenge. But I shall try. What is probably the best stable, stolid, seldom changing email program? Something like Outlook Express which grew old and was abandoned (probably because it worked <g>) but it seldom caused a problem and it left you free to type your letters and keep your files the way you wanted to. Anyone have any good ideas? Just a nice, simple, easy to use e-mail program? Thank you.
If you liked Outlook Express, Outlook is a great alternative.
I personally like Lotus Notes because from a technical perspective, it's the only one that stores messages (email) in a database properly. But it's UX leaves something to be desired.

Thank you. This "Outlook" is an email program? I ask because I think I remember an older Outlook that was a regular mail program, not email. I might be remembering wrong. It was long ago when I had Windows 95.

I use Outlook (on my computer) and sync it to Gmail.
