Are you clicking "remember me" when you log in? Are you constantly clearing your cookies for some reason? Are you in incognito mode?

If you're using an antivirus app that includes system tune up features (like Norton) or a cleanup utility such as CCleaner they may be deleting your site cookies.

No Norton, or ccleaner. Not in incognito mode. I may have unclicked something when I did the tools + delete browsing history.

if you delete browsing history.......your history will be deleted. This means your sites will be logged out, because to the browser, you were never there. You can uncheck "cookies and website data" if you want to keep this. Or use keepass or lastpass and enable auto login feature.

I always delete browser history (dbh) - so the having to re-login to sites is something new, thus the thinking that I may have clicked one of the options of the dbh dialog box.

The logout / login problem is fixed, I somehow clicked the cookies and website data in the delete browser history dialog box.

Now my wife's facebook video calling does not work.
