I've been looking for a position with this shift for awhile now and cannot find anything. I have a bachelors in business administration and management and currently getting my masters in human services.. I'm trying to get my baby out of daycare as she is not adjusting well at all. I will do anything at this point.

Any leads will be greatly appreciated...

When I was growing up, my mother worked in a bank processing center. She basically processed the checks that were sent from the branches that day. She went to work around 5:00 PM and got home around 1:00 AM. I believe that Webster Bank has a processing center in New Britain but do not know if they have a second shiift. Check with the banks web sites to see if there are any positions near you. Good luck, Jay

tionne317,

Where are you located? My neighbor here in Cheshire, Macys.com and Bloomingdale's Direct, is a 3-shift operation (Distribution Center - direct to customer). They do have opportunities from time to time.

I work 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:30 at an Elevator company here in CT so I can stay home during the day with my little ones. There are a lot of moms on my shift that do it for the same reasons and it is a very professional work environment. It's a dispatching center. We serve customers, mechanics and answer when people press the emergency button in the elevator. The pay is good and they pay for your schooling so they would pay for your Master's degree. They probably will be hiring soon. You also get a yearly bonus if you speak French or Spanish. E-mail me if you are interested.

Ella

All of the big aerospace companies have multiple daily shifts like Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney, and Hamilton Sunstrand.

I don't know if you're near Norwalk, but Virgin Atlantic is looking for customer service reps to work from home. But the 8 week training is in Norwalk from 8-5 daily.
