Well about 1/2 of glastonbury now without power, incliding us, no chili tonight. If we don't get it back by very early a.m. which I doubt I am filling up 3 huge fish coolers with snow and packing all the game and fish in my freeers in the coolers, and will stick the stuff in the fridge in the snow. At least I don't have the same problem I did with hurricane irene....this is something else for October

About 4" in Monroe, no power and now the wind is picking up. When I was out on the roads around 1PM, the driving situation was deteriorating quickly - I couldn't believe how fast the snow was piling up. Be safe out there.

It's wild on a clear sunny day; there's no words for a day like today. If you can, I'd choose 95 over the Merritt just to avoid the falling branches over the road.

Surprised I still have power in Norwalk!

I still have power... lights were flickering a few times.... That mimosa looks so cool with the snow covered but it leaning on the power line and the roof so I dont think she will fall.

30 mins ago lost power in Granby. My friend called from Middlefield he lost his 3 hours ago. MIL in Bristol is out too and they hardly ever lose power. 6 to 8 inches here so far.
