My prayers to all the families at this school. It seems no place is safe. I live a couple miles from Seal Beach, CA where last year an angry ex husband killed 8 innocent people at a hair salon. My daughter's friend lost her mother, who was simply there getting a hair cut. It just doesn't make sense. And when children are involved it's even more disturbing. I am praying for you CT!

So so so terribly sorry for everyone in Newtown. I'm losing hope in where we are headed in this country. Too many crazy people out there.

I am so sorry for all of you close to this community, it's just the lowest crime possible. I wish the gunman was still alive, so he could face 36 parents, whose innocent children he took away from them a week before Christmas.

Sending my thoughts and prayers from a mom of a kindergartner in Massachusetts.

Dear God, this is unbelievable. I'm hearing different reports on different news stations now, but no matter what, as one commentator described it, "the story is developing in a bad way". My thoughts and prayers are among those being offered for the victims and their families.

My theory is disgruntled, non-custodial parent. I can't see any reason for someone to go randomly to Newtown, you know? Of all places.

This is the worst one yet..The killing of angels. I hope with all my heart this is the end of this wave of darkness. Let all Americans wake up and understand that this must be the end of this insanity. YOU must end this now. I beseech all of my friends south of the boarder...unite and bring about peace. The nation has finally hit rock bottom.
My love and compassion to all of you. This is the saddest day in history...enough!

OMG. If true, this is the worst crime in recent memory. How could someone do this? I'm so upset just thinking about it. I'm praying for all the people of Newtown.
