I agree that's a factor, but it's not universally true. I make the same salary here as I did in CT.

Let me rephrase that...

It depends on some careers and jobs. A good portion have lower wages than CT's wages.

Did any of you watch the live coverage from the governor a little while ago?

Someone asked the governor about the message the large corporations gave when they said they would move out of state if the capital passed this tax hike.

What was the governor's response?

That he did not get that message. He then said thank you and ended it.

Wow...

Yes, but it doesn't stop people from searching for it.

No arrogance. Democrats wants us to be good Americans by paying our taxes and shutting up.

He did not get it??? Is his head suck in the sand or was he sequestered away with none of his staff monitoring the media? Come on now, if this is true then something is very wrong. Jay

Either that or I missed something. I started watching it right when the reporter started asking the governor so there's a chance I missed something. There could have been a discussion before I turned it on.

They did not threatened to move. What they did was threaten not to expand. They have plans in the next 5 years to spend $300m in capital investments. They said, if the budget passes, they will still expand, but it will not be in CT.
