I mean I could see and be too long of a project by the time it's done probably be obsolete. Anyways beyond seeing a lot of construction on the roads why can't they create a bus lane for a bus to alleviate travel on the road.

I believe the regional planning agency (CRCOG) is looking into expanding bus service out to UConn right now. Bradley will be serviced by shuttles between the Windsor Locks station on the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield rail line and the terminal. Eventually the state wants either rail or rapid bus service between downtown Hartford and Bradley. They have studied the Griffin Line which goes from just north of Union Station up to northern Bloomfield as a possible route but connecting it to the airport is not going to be easy. We will see. I believe it because I live in New Britain! On top of living behind the fastrak and live near the station. I also use it and many people use it! I see positive things going on in New Britain.

-not to mention, she is working on attracting a new team in this city.

Mayor Erin Stewart got my vote. She is an awesome lady. I personally had conversation with her which is awesome. she is a realest mayor! . You can "liked" her page on FB and speak with her too.

I find it funny how people like to be so negative about the CTFASTRAK. The impression I get is that these "negative people" want it to fail. I myself see many types of people on the bus. I HAVE seen individuals that work in downtown Hartford back to their home to West Hartford, Plainville, and Bristol etc

Think I'm lying? Use it your self or just stop being ignorant. I use it all the time whenever I need to go to gym and so forth. Gee I can use the CTFastrak to get off at a specific stop and walk down to Lake Compounce for crying out loud (bus 102/Bristol).

My only downside with FastTrack is I have no use for it ha. Like a service to New Haven or/and Bridgeport. From Waterbury area travel to Bridgeport/New Haven so of they expanded the service or incorporated a line to New Haven/Bridgeport I probably use it over driving some times.

^ Unless you take a express bus to New Haven, it go out from Hartford downtown. However, I am not sure if it is part of the busway like the other express buses such as Waterbury. I don't think they have Bridgeport seem pretty far. lol

Manufacturing company in New Britain.

"Polamer is gratified to be recognized for its expansion but said much remains to be done in order to attain its vision. Within five years, the firm, which has 99 employees— more than 75 percent of whom are from the city— plans to hire to more than 200 additional workers and become a $150 million company."
