Yeah, I found 6" for CT especially wettish snow with temps in 30s is no big deal for main roads after couple hours. DOT does good work.. (Maybe slushy) once you go over 6 it starts getting dicey. Of course wind, rate of fall and temps play a role too. I'm sure the interstates were horrible between 3-6am. We shoulda pulled some cameras up.

Its all about temperature. At 15 ...its a whole different story.

BDR actually shattered a daily snowfall record with 5.5". The old record was just 1.7" in 1965. With that there is now no date in January there that has not seen at least 2" of snowfall at least once (records go back to 1948).

I measured 7" in Wallingford today. Of course the traction drive cable snapped right as I finished this morning. Have to order one online but in the interim jury rigged one using 3/32" cable and a couple of hooks and back in action.

I got hit by a town plow this morning. NOT thrilled to see talk of the next storm
