Baloney. With Norwalk, Stamford, Bridgeport, Fairfield, the modest parts of Greenwich, Stratford, Shelton, Trumball, New Fairfield, etc., how is it possible that 29.7% of the listings are over $1,000,000?
Because they're listings. As discussed extensively in this thread, listing price bears little to no relation to either (1) actual home value or (2) actual home sales.

First, it's Trumbull. If you can't even spell the town correctly, that tells me you don't know much about it.
And second, it's extremely possible. Fairfield, Trumbull, Norwalk and Stamford all have many million and multi-million dollar homes.

I agree--it's a true statistic. To check, I just looked on Zillow and out of 6,800-something active listings in FFC, 1,900-something are over $1mm. That's 28.3%. So there's no reason to believe the actual statistic is wrong.
Again, not a useful statistic. Out of 29,000-something recently-sold listings on Zillow in FFC, 4,037 were over $1mm. That's 13.6%.
I don't disagree. I still think nearly 14% of homes for the county with a sale price of $1mm or more is pretty significant.
Of course! I'm certainly not arguing that FFC is in any way affordable.
