I was in Seattle last summer, and both the city and surrounding suburbs were loaded with these little drive-through espresso places that were incredible.

I realize Seattle is the most coffee-crazed city in the US....but do these sorts of places exist in CT at all? Obviously neither Dunkin Donuts (watered-down GARBAGE) nor Starbucks (decent, but I'd like to try something different) are what I'm seeking.

I've been to J. Rene in West Hartford (good, but definitely not on the level I had in Seattle...no drive-thru, and I really hate dealing with West Hartford) and JoJo's in Hartford (didn't particularly care for it,...). Something east of the river would be much preferred. Thanks.

The Starbucks on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury has a drive thru and I believe they offer expresso coffee. I am sure that this will become more and more popular as time goes on. Jay

I am aware of a couple in western CT - Mountain Mudd in Burlington and another in New Milford-ish (might be New Preston - it's on 202).... not sure about east of the river though.

Thanks..didn't think this sort of thing existed on the east coast, let alone CT!

Mountain Mudd has good reviews on Yelp...will check it out. Now if only the Farmington Valley wasn't such a PITA to get to
