Sure then do the same for me since 136 was the address number from my one of my ex's. Now that you said that, it has gotten me to freak out too.

The modernization of the rail network/infrastructure may fuel a strong enough demand to warrant skyscraper-high residential development, in return, potentially being CT's tallest. High-speed rail and better regional heavy rail are already in the works, so it could be in the matter of the next 10 or 20 years that CT's next tallest could be under construction. This is only my opinion though, and assuming NH remains superior to Hartford or Bridgeport.
New Haven? Really? i know they just built a new high rise in 2010 which happens to be residential. Why would New Haven have the next tallest building? I get what your saying but having a building over 500ft doesnt seem logical in New Haven. I don't think any major CT excepted Hartford are good candidate for the next tallest building. New Haven doesn't have massive office space like Hartford though office space isn't in high demand. It's very very very rare to find a residential building taller than Hartford 21 especially in the northeast unless your in NYC. Stamford will most likely never go taller than 400ft. Probably in the future it will have dozens of new buildings ranging from 300ft-400ft if all goes well. As for Bridgeport and Waterbury? Never ever. Bridgeport does have Steel Point going right now. But the new apartment buildings will probably range 150ft-250ft. Waterbury will never get a skyscraper, never. Its a perfect example of a deindustrialized city. Nothing huge will come to Waterbury unless they upgrade its roads, highways, and infrastructure. Most developers are not appealed to building in underdeveloped and outdated areas.

They do and Let's keep it like that.

Trump wanted to build over 400 feet. Stamford said shove it. This isn't New Rochelle or NYC

Just curious but why don't you want taller buildings?

New Haven, IMO, has the most potential for long-term, sustainable residential growth, which would pump out high-rises. NH already has great rail service, great universities/hospitals, historical/cultural significance, etc. And it's on the coast, which is a selling point.

Hartford has a beautiful skyline. It also has a lot of potential. Transportation infrastructure will be a key component. The Uconn downtown campus will also be a catalyst helping to spur demand for increased weekend activity, it will create a need for a grocery store and expand housing. The housing demand could bring a new high rise and attract knowledge/technology-based employers working in conjunction with UConn, Trinity and UHart programs.

I would read like to see bridgeport get a few more buildings and possibly one labeled as the tallest. Or atleast the tallest in Fairfeild County. With the revitalization of downtown, Steel Point space, a new train station on the eastside, it can be possible. Look I live in BPT - I have a bias - and I know Bridgeort is not the crown jewel of Connecticut but being the largest city has to count for something.

I always loved the view of the Hartford skyline coming in from East Hartford on I84 from the I384 interchange.
