Using the elliptical is the best thing I ever did. No pressure on legs or joints. Here is the key...NEVER touch the handle bars. Never lean on them at all unless you are exhausted. Keep your arms moving over your head...

This is especially true if you are overweight. The strain on the legs and joints from running is massive. Now if you are lean and in great shape? Running is better.

Arc trainer > elliptical.

Running (especially on a treadmill or hard pavement) is terrible for your knees.

Yep arc trainers are great too. Again its HOW you use the elliptical that is key. Power walking good too.

Normal Winters are too warm.
"Normal" Summers are too hot & humid for me.

So record warm summers just takes a big toll mentally and physically.

Absolutely miserable.

Mean Min Temp

Mean Max Temp

Number of min temps 70°+

July-August humidity mostly above normal reaching extreme a couple times

August dewpoint Average 2nd highest. Miserable humidity really hit me.

IM TIRED OF USING THE AC!!!!!!
IM TIRED OF KEEP SHADES CLOSED!!!!
IM TIRED OF STORMS!!!!
IM TIRED OF GETTING HEADACHES!!!
IM TIRED OF BUGS!!!!
IM TIRED OF FEELING LIKE ****!!!!
IM TIRED OF SMELLING CRAPPY AIR!!
IM TIRED OF SEEING A HAZE!!!
IM TIRED OF THIS HUMIDITY!!!!

MISERABLE

Avg Temps:
June 2016: 8th Warmest
July 2016: 5th Warmest
August 2016: Warmest

Minus the 2 big 10 inches in the winter and the one week it dipped below 0 in the State; Is there any States that have the same weather pattern CT had all the time? Curious to see how the fall is. I would move in a heartbeat if a State had yearly weather like CT had this year.

? seriously? Move to Maryland or Delaware..even Northern Virginia away from the mountains. This is exactly what they experience in a year I'd say by average. Off you go!

And the other side ..for those who want it cooler ..move into Northern New England .. I understand bitching if its in the 80's in September ....but its freakin SUMMER. Same goes for the winter-time bitchers...its a New England winter.
