Trump will get a ton of Sanders voters due to their trade stance-which is why BOTH won Michigan. I am pro trade, but being anti trade in the old Rust Belt swings an immense amount of votes.

That's a theory any way. I really don't see any evidence to support that.

The only poll done showed that only 25% of Sanders voters WOULDN'T support Hillary-- and there's no guarantee the entire 25% would support Trump.

I think many will stay home.

I think you're also underestimating (and I don't condone this) the negative onslaught that Trump is going to face in the general. The Clintons are a machine and the opposition research (and ads that are already being written, I'm sure) are very much going to impact Trump negatively.

There's no "in case Trump wins the nomination" caveat in the general election and Trump's said enough things that will turn off liberal Dem's to really lose any serious potential voting base there. And they'll be reminded of everything Trump said, over and over and over again.
