Rowayton is its own community and own village with its own elementary and middle school.

So, these people pay taxes to the town of Rowayton too??

Greenwich.

I thought "Gold Coast" referred only to towns that were literally on the coast? i.e. New Canaan, Wilton, Weston, Ridgefield and any other inland town wouldn't really qualify, but I guess this is more a list of all wealthy FFC towns...

It's actually connected to the thirteen parkway municipalities. Greenwich through Stratford.

Greenwich
Stamford
Darien
New Canaan
Norwalk
Wilton
Westport
Weston
Fairfield
Easton
Bridgeport
Trumbull
Stratford

If true, it's surprising that Stratford, Bridgeport and Trumbull are included but Ridgefield and Redding are not.

BTW, I have seen Trumbull referred to as part of the Gold Coast in some articles or also bordering the Gold Coast town of Easton. More bordering on the Gold Coast town of Easton. I have never seen Bridgeport or Stratford referred to as a Gold Coast town. It has more to do with a towns wealth in Fairfield County than actual location on the coastline.

Bridgeport is low income/lower middle class, Stratford is middle class, Trumbull is upper middle class, Easton is upper middle class even Shelton is not gold coast it above Stratford

Here is why I think Trumbull is not really part of the Gold Coast..yet. Our HH income is up there but the worth of our homes is not as high as most towns on the list. I have an inkling Trumbull will be included in the Gold Coast list in about 10 years though. Lots of homes being added to and/or doubling of square footage.

Maybe they should get an early start on the application process for official inclusion.

I don't know but it's life and death. We need to get to the bottom of this.
