I am going to send Moffly Media and e-mail and ask them what they consider to be the Gold Coast towns of FFC. I always see all of their magazines when I visit some of my doctors in the Stamford/Norwalk area.

Don't bother, if you haven't already done so.

I hereby officially declare Trumbull, Ridgefield, and Redding as part of the Gold Coast.
There you go, it's settled.

So there were many others in this thread that were discussing which towns are part of the gold coast before me. Why didn't you make disparaging and wise ***** comments to them too?

It's only the "gold coast census tract" because you named it that... how does this tell us what the gold coast is?

I wish I could get credit for the naming convention. Alas this reference comes up in severa articles including the Bloomberg piece on income disparity last summer.

I don't know.
More importantly, did you vote yet? Stamford still has zero and needs a vote

It was likely dubbed Gold Coast by society well before any "official" boundaries were drawn, even by census bureau (assuming census referred to it as "Gold Coast", didn't click your link).

Why is anything east of Westport on this list? Commuting to NYC and property values drop SHARPLY after it, so IMHO it's the end.
But I chose Fairfield even though it's not technically on the Gold Coast because 1) It has the best mix of all worlds and 2) Just a *little* bias.
