Hello I am moving to Fairfield and I learned that Fairfield does not have a city or town sanitation company so does anyone that lives in Fairfield has any recommendations I am moving to the Stratfield section if that makes a difference.

If you don't mind sharing what do they charge and do I have to recycle? I never lived in a place that I have find trash pick up

I think we pay $89 every two months. I don't think you HAVE to recycle, but it's included.

ok that's not too bad and do they do bulk pick up at the sametime or do I need to schedule for that pick up?

Not sure about that.

They also do grass/leaf pickup from April-November for an additional $150 I think.

I pay $146 every 3 months. I recycle but I don't know if it's required. Bulk pickup can be arranged.

Check to see who the neighbors use, as some of these companies are territorial.
The town itself does leaf bag pickups in Nov/Dec.
You can also bring your own to the town dump - $6 per dump visit. The leaf/brush dump is also next to the garbage dump.
