They are predicting a low of 80 in NYC/Central Park for Wednesday. If it happens it would be the latest in the year that a low of 80 or above happened there (current record is August 15, 1988). Ironically a low of 80 or above hasn't happened yet this summer.

The heat and humidity is one thing for now. Would you rather it be what happened 7 years ago today?

Yeah I don't think so. Look at temps in RI or even southeast CT near stonington. It's in the low 80s at the RI shore. If anything, that's not warm enough! 90s on the sand would be nicer especially with that relatively cold water. It never really gets hot in RI/nantucket/cape cod, which is unfortunate because that's the one place you'd want it hot! That open Atlantic acts like an A/C. You have to head at least to the mid atlantic in nj if you really want some heat on the sand routinely.

Accuweather just had New Britain's 06052 as 90 with a dew point of "only" 76. Summer Sauna Time!

Coastal living sucks! at times. lol. Torchure today.

The pink numbers are back!

1pm Map. Not a cloud in the sky. Just haze and dirty air here.

Whats with that hot spot around Burlington, gees.

See the Jet Stream? Dipping over the Plains but pushed north in the East. No clouds under the Ridge.
We are in a drier pattern now because we are inside the ridge. Previously it was sitting over the Atlantic and we were on the edge.

I believe Fall has been the fastest season as far as a warming trend. (Sept 1 - November 30). I'll have to double check but I know Summers haven't been crazy lately and Springs have been cold a lot. September and October seem to be lacking those lasting cold crisp weather patterns lately.

But I don't think I even had to show you this graph. September Average Temps for BDR. I personally feel it since nights are warmer and there is no lasting cold shots anymore. I knew September would look like this.
